Customer service is based on some very simple rules:
ANSWER YOUR PHONE
We always try to make sure that someone is picking up the phone. We do not like answering machines or automated attendants either, so when you call we will be there for you.
KEEP YOUR PROMISES
Reliability is a vital key to our relationship with you. If we say that your order will be delivered on Tuesday, then we make sure that it is delivered on Tuesday. Otherwise, we don't say it. The same rule applies to meetings, appointments, and deadlines. We have to think before we give any promise because nothing annoys customers more than a broken one.
LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS
We need to stop with all the sales pitches and listen to the customer. A few suggestions on how to help or solve the problem will ensure that you are listening.
No one likes hearing complaints, but if you give it your full attention, and deal with it immediately, we find that we are able to please customers, one customer at a time. This positions our business to reap the benefits of good customer service.
This rule applies regardless of the possible gain of any immediate profit. If we don’t have it, we will find it for you. If we can help you source something and help you out, we will. We believe that you will come back to us when the product and timing is right.
